About the Practitioner
Ana Brushingham is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.  Ms. Brushingham is bilingual (English and Spanish) with some knowledge of Italian and French, having studied in Paris at the Sorbonne University.  She was also a special guest editor for "Child Magazine" and appeared in the May 2000 issue.  She has over 16 years experience with autism and developmental disabilities.  Ana graduated from the University of Miami with a Masters in Business Administration.

Ms. Brushingham
is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, BAITIS (Berard AIT International Society) and the Autism Society of America.  She is certified in Berard AIT from the Idea Training Center in Connecticut.

he practices Berard AIT in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as Maggie Valley (near Asheville), North Carolina.

co-authored an article on Berard AIT which was published in the July 2009 issue of "The Autism file" magazine
